i did the same move from FI to bolt-on's and i really love the reliability and how I'm not afraid that something will break or hear strange sounds

If you have a cold air intake that's low to the ground where water can infiltrate it during heavy rain, etc, then these things help minimize water entering the intake manifold. Of course it sucks in some warm engine air a little bit, but its worth it to me I guess. It's equivalent to tapping a hole in a straw that you're using to drink water.

Heres a recent photoshoot of my s2k before I closed it up for the rest of the winter.
These are the first pics i've taken of my S2k since I converted it back from FI to stock
so it still has some decals on it from the past performance parts I had.
I played with photoshop a little to give it some extra appeal.
