love your car man, one of my fav s2k's

i did the same move from FI to bolt-on's and i really love the reliability and how I'm not afraid that something will break or hear strange sounds
I really miss the power though

Check ebay "bypass air filter"
If you have a cold air intake that's low to the ground where water can infiltrate it during heavy rain, etc, then these things help minimize water entering the intake manifold. Of course it sucks in some warm engine air a little bit, but its worth it to me I guess. It's equivalent to tapping a hole in a straw that you're using to drink water.
