I came round a corner and the front had more grip than the rear, not sure if i hit the gas too early or the car was just a bit unbalanced at the time but i did have new Falken tyres on the front and some unknown cheapo Headway brand on the rear (Came with the car) i have only had it a month and was going to change the rears at the end of the month for Falkens, just couldn't stop the rear from sliding and it slid round, clipped a ditch and banking and the car just flipped over. i feel kinda stupid and very disappointed just now. At least it was only myself in the car and other that a bash on the head (as i had the roof down at the time) and some cuts and bruises i feel fine.

Thanks, all i have is a sore head and some scratches and bruises. And a lesson to always have good rubber, it's hard to say if the crash would have been prevented but i will never drive a car with cheap/unknown tyres again.

Glad you're OK, cars can be replaced.

I'm just wondering how fast you were traveling to have the rear end step out enough to have the car flip...

I can't remember but it wasn't too fast, the car flipped when the front passenger wheel slipped into the ditch at the side of the road, the car was dragged into the grass banking and that's when it flipped over.

Will try to remember over the next few days even if just for my own understanding of how and why it did what it did, i do remember i couldn't get the rear to stop sliding, first to the right, then i over corrected and it went left, i then over corrected again and it went back to the right but this time it slid round to the side of the road and hit the ditch/banking you can see in the pics where it hit the bank on the left and possibly the skid mark on the road.

Sorry to hear about this, good thing you are safe.

I had grippier tires on the rear and less grippy on the front, which just gave me too much understeeer, your way is definitely more risky. Grippy tires on all four corners is a must with this car IMO. All the best going forward.

Not trying to be offensive, but this isn't the type of car to hop in and try to keep up with other experienced drivers without being experienced yourself. If you had seat time with the car, you'd have a better understanding of the tires capabilities despite the mismatch or quality.

I said "you" but I'm speaking in generalities for the sake of the conversation
