Very cold! I normally reverse up the drive, except when I'm not sure I'll make it.

That was a "not sure" day.

Tell me about it, Asif. I've had a couple of "moments" this year, one of which involved going sideways down my own drive with the ABS on.

Really should have snow tyres for that weather, but these days it really is only 3 or 4 days a year here in the south of Scotland.

Steven,

Having lived most of my life in England, the concept of "snow" tires was a novelty to me when I discovered them first here in Calgary Canada. Unless you have another car that you can use for the "bad" days, it's probably a good idea to get winters for a car like the S.
