wow that semi was overweight by 16000lbs.... amazing.
i dont know if its as much of a problem anywhere else, but here in dfw, freaking semi's think they own the road. they will cut you off, tailgate, everything. not saying this driver was doing that, but its just the first thing that came to mind.
that guy is one lucky man too... could have been MUCH worse for him...

I don't have any evidence of my story, and I don't know if anything came from it, but I was on an uphill curve on I-40 in Central Arkansas when a semi came across the dirt median and only corrected at the last second. He was so close that mud from his rig actually bounced off the side of my car.
In my mirrors I watched him swerve back onto his side of the interstate where traffic scattered.
I took the very next exit and drove well under the speed limit the rest of the way to work.

I have to agree with Mic Crispy on this one. Semis do think they are the only thing on the road, i have seen very few semis that have paid attention and watched what they were doing. That guy was lucky.
