I disagree, I think for the most part, Japanese tuners stick with what a car is equipped with from the factory. Most AE86, S2000, and NSX tuners stick with the NA format. Yes Amuse went turbo on their WB'd TA GT1 S2000 car, but after how many NA S2000's? J's Racing, Tracy Sports, Toda Racing, Mugen, Spoon are still NA AFAIK. Yet major Honda only U.S. tuners such as Comptech, Vortech, and Inline Pro go straight to F.I. I think a lot has to do with the fact that most Americans would rather have high HP #'s than actual fast cars. Just look how many F.I. guys you have on this board wanting more power with $5000 spent on the motor, and only $1000- spent on a suspension. I'd take the Amuse/ASM/J's Racing car over any 500whp S2000 in the states.
with that too, all i was saying is the the japs are no stranger to boosted cars.

I think he meant they use F/I a lot on stock cars, not necessarily add them to N/A cars.

Don't stereotype us FI guys as muscle heads that want nothing but numbers. I have mildly boosted application that I track. MSM is/was blown and he races...there are some of us out there that enjoy turning left and right.

I am looking forward to see what Inline is going to put together with this 2.7L motor. Looks outrageous!
