Noticed it too when the first pics of the GT-R came out...but oh well, there's no mistaking which one is the "badassed" car.

the cobalt lights were actually supposed to be look-a-likes of the corvette(which has had the same lights years before the skyline). its supposed to have aspects of its design "corvette spirited"

It's front end is also cousins with the Mitsubishi Eclipse and the Mitsubishi EVO X ahahha. Good rear comparison that is funny.

I noticed that, too.

I first realized the GT-R's tail lights are similar to the Cobalt's when spy shots of the GT-R began emerging on the 'net. I just didn't want to mention it because I assumed it would hurt the feelings of the GT-R -ers.

pretty funny... but i'm sure it's not for the folks paying those high prices for their GTR's. and stop hating and saying meaningless things like pointing out the GTR lost to a ZR1 (look at the price difference people). and don't give me BS about dealer mark-ups on the GTR and therefore trying to say it's basically the ZR1's price. go see how much u'd have to spend for a ZR1 then talk.

still funny pics. i feel for gtr owners. its like when people ask me if my car is a new miata/saturn
