Guys,
I don't know why these pics were posted in the first place.
They are NOT our cars, and we never claimed them to be.
During the time of registration for the vehicles for SEMA IAS 2005 (Atlantic City), both of these cars were in the body shop undergoing the installation of the body kits / parts.
As we did not want to miss registration for the cars, we were told to submit a picture of "how the vehicle would look", and were not "trying to submit pics of cars that we did not own".
Why would we try to use pics of AJ Racing cars when they did not even belong to us? This is NOT something that we would EVER do. We told them that we did not have pics at the time of registration, but they insisted that we send them something that looked similar.
Basically, the people in SEMA IAS registration asked us to submit "pics of cars that were very similar" to give the regstration representative a better idea of how the vehicle would finally look. Thats all.
Nothing more.
Some of the parts on those cars were from AJ Racing ( the J's Racing Type S Kit I believe).

Here is an ACTUAL pic of the 2003 AP1 with the J's Racing Type S CF Kit.

Here is a pic of my gf's car - 2005 AP2 - GPW.
Ben / Dickson, and any one else from AJ Racing, we did not mean to offend you and we apologize for the mixup, but please understand that the pics were ONLY used for SEMA's purposes and were requested by them strictly for the purpose of showing how the NEW aero kits/parts would look for the two S2000s, and were NOT used to be "played off as OUR cars or anything like that".
Sorry again for the mixup!

This guy actually had the guts to call and explained everything.
If I were this guy, I would've just denied everything, Derek is a good man. He called, apologized many many many times, explained everything and how the guys of the website screwed up.
He's a good guy, everybody makes mistakes, his mistake was trusting the wrong guy and that was it.

I for one applaud your response to this thread. After all the negative comments made, you still had the maturity to explain the situation in a very respectful manner while ignoring all the keyboard warriors here. Kudos to you!
p.s. More pics of the GF driving the S please....
