Put the RS4 in the rain with your Z06 and watch it's taillights grow smaller a rear-biased quattro system would be sweet!! I'm for the RS4 anyday, heck give me an Avant like the last generation!

I bet RS4 will be around $70k when they hit north america.
and currently dealers are taking waiting list already.

About the relibity, current B6/B7 (8E) chassis got much better than prev B5 chassis.
So I wouldnt worry much about it unless it runs out of warrenty.

Is't it funny that the traffic situation around the globe is getting worse and worse, cops are getting more strict but the big brands out there like MB AMG, BMW and Audi are having a race that will end up in having a 1000hp "family car" in a few years...have a look 10 years back, how much HP did a M3 have (the next one will be 400hp)...but hey, I like it that way ) on the other side the cars weight still more and more, so a 10 years old VW Golf GTi will beat the latest

lol then we can keep it in the dry weather and watch the zo6 lights get smaller along with the california plate
im not comparing these two cars based on perfaormance per-se, but what i am referring to is the cost of the vehicle and the performance you get for that specific amount of money

Sorry if i was rude.. good call.. but then again you could buy a used $20k car perhaps the S and put another $40k into it leaving both in the dust so either way!! I'd still take the RS4 if i could only choose one car for the rest of my life... If it was a wagon it would be the most practical thing on four wheels.
