yep agreed, near stock exterior cars with Carbon hoods always look a little silly to me, you either have to go real hardcore or keep it nice a simple and clean.

good luck.

Thanks for the input guys. As far as painting the CF, I basically agree. BUT, what I was trying to do was match the black of the wheels, trim, and top with the black of the CF.

Perhaps I'll get sick of the CF "look" one of these days and paint it. The plan right now is:

1. Turbo
2. Mugen FRP hardtop painted Suzuka blue (with black on sides)

Once I get the HT, I think I'll paint all the CF for a super-clean look...

I say you could either....

1. Get a Mugen hardtop and paint it black or get the CF one, and get a carbon fiber trunk. (this way, you'd have the black/CF for the hood, top, trunk, wing, lip, wheels)

2. Paint everything Suzuka, and get a hardtop (painted) if you want one.

I agree. I held off on painting the lip until I could determine if it was just going to get scraped up all the time!

It hasn't, and so that'll be my next move.

just hold on to the money now, the turbo will runs your more money down the road, there's always something wrong, something broken and something not running right.

you can still drive the car without a carbon fiber mirror but you can't drive at all without a proper tune
