the FD is spectacular, but if you look at how much more modified it is than the GTR the GTR is obviously the better car

And the FD is 15 year old technology

I'm impressed, and would drive a modified FD over a GTR any day. Same reason I bought an S2000 - I prefer lighter weight nimble cars versus grand tourers.
