Default side strakes

Well my car will be going into the body shop next week for a new wing and new bumper and repainting of the rear view mirrors.

The think that I keep coming up to is the side strakes, they have given me nothing but problems, and am already on a 2nd set (these damn things are not cheap)

I like them and I don't what do you guys think I should do, shave or keep ?
