Fake parts... I dunno. If the mark up wasn't so stoopid ridiculous it might not be a problem. Clearly there is a demand, so people buy. So really its not about the parts as much as it is about the desire to mod and a there being a substantial market and people who don't mind un "original" parts. As a matter of fact it seems to me that it is just one more thing people are using to drive a wedge between the haves and have nots. To put others down for towing the line the way are capable of. Its like reverse hating of a sort. Shameful really.
And I'm saying this from the perspective of not having "fake" parts on my car. But would, and will when i find something else that I like and flows well.
again no one is hating on those who rock imitation parts we just like to support companies who have the creativity and respect for creating something unique and not just replicate another companies R&D.... as i stated i love djdorifto's car and i don't have anything against anyone who rocks replica parts. but i rather save my money and buy a product to support a company who did their own research and created something that was original. than support a company who just copied someone else's work. that's just personal preference. but lets keep this chit chatter aside at the end of the day we are all trying to achieve a greater goal and that's to personalize our canvas on wheels anyway we see fit. djdorifto i cant wait to meet you this weekend. i think you should get a bys lip/ap1 your car would be nuts!
