i have been waiting for the group buy on these, would this fit the MY00-04?

 

- sorry for my ignorance, but can someone PLEASE explain how the hell this would be capped off without replacing the whole bumper?

 

- maybe if it were a lip half the size of the bumper?

I think the actual topic here is about a cap for the other exhaust opening on the bumper, similar to the one Dut has on his car....see his sig for the pic....

I agree with Dut....how could they possibly cover the other hole without replacing the entire bumper?

 

actually i have the ZTEC cap or whatever you call it. I do not beleive it will work for the 2004 models becuase its actually a replica piece of that black strip where the exhaust tips extend out of in the pre-04 models. All you do is replace the stock piece, or in my case jsut put it over the black strip. However, the ZTEC only has one opening for an exuast instead of two. I havent heard of any single cover cap for the 04 models (i may be wrong here, someone correct me if i am), and im pretty sure the only way it could be done would be either replacing the bumper, or if someone does some custom fiberglass work and cover it up.
