why the hell would you launch on a dyno, that just seems to be asking to break something or the car to find a way off of the rollers. sounds awesome though.

I believe they do it to simulate the Qtr mile whle at the same time checking everything on the car while hooked up to the dyno.

w/e floats their boat, I would rather do a "REAL" 1/4 mile, with wind resistance and all, also chance to crash into a wall.

what should you do when there's no track near you? also, it could just be for fun.......to see what he would run.....
