How did these pictures get on this forum? Anyways, I keep lots of snakes. The first snake is a coastal carpet python, native to australia. The critter it caught is likely a wallabie, which is essentially a small kangaroo. The second snake is a barneck scrub python (also from Australia). They can easily get over 20 feet long. The animal it caught is a kangaroo. My prediction is that after killing it, it accidentally dropped it and is hoisting it back up. My snakes do that all the time. The transition from constricting (with all the coils) to swallowing is a difficult one.

lets just hope your aim is good or else you'll end up like that horse.

I still don't get the last pic -- I guess he was on the top of that cliff and it fell over... then the snake went down to retrieve it...

There's no way in hell he can hoist it up though, he'll just have to eat it under water

if the snake dropped the kangaroo in that last pic, how would it retrieve it?? that water looks pretty deep and that snake is not only high up, but most of it's body is to the right making it harder for it to go deeper in the water. weird, but that thing is HUGE and blends in so perfect with the rock! scary
