had the sunday night got to go back to work malaise, so i went for a little drive and took some pictures. they're not great (no tripod, just screwin' around), but i liked a few :

great pics! lighting is great and so are all the colors. the landscape is really nice (although it is city hall), it looks great! keep experiencing with your night shots and post them!

Nice pics. What digicam are you using and what were the settings ? Also, with those wheels on, I wouldn't exactly call it "bone stock".

those are from a coolpix 950, (my 5000 is STILL broken!) on manual mode, aperture opened all the way up (i think around 3.7 at that length), 1/2 second to a second exposure, ISO 400 no flash, manual focus to 30 feet. a tripod would have yielded much sharper images, as would a camera with less "noise" at higher ISO settings. (i.e. a professional digicam.)
