No, Race car's usually run Moton or JRZ suspension, I'd gladly do the same if I could afford it. Also, matching suspension-tire compound (which the Showa shocks/oem springs were built/designed for) is crucial in building a fast car. I use street compound tires at autox's so upgrading the suspensions is not a necessity. S2000's whether AP1 or AP2 ask for a lot of suspension travel when pushed to the limit, which most people suggesting me to drop it with cheap springs or uber awesome JDM BC/Tein coilovers aren't really familiar a car's "Limit"

BTW, AP2's have been consistently faster around most courses I've seen so I'll stick with my Deville suspension. Mind you I already owned an AP1 for almost 2 years. A softer suspension doesn't mean a slower car, it means it plants the tires and takes a better set in the turns. Most people that actually care about modding a car to go faster instead of rice'in there ride out know that.

I will get KW V.3 suspension ( or Motons if someones donating ) after some track days at Summit Point, but right now the OEM suspension is more than capable for my skill level.

How do you like the ZETA 3 seat? I am looking to purchase a new seat soon, I just want to know what your height/weight/waist size is and does the seat feel comfortable.
I like the Zeta 3 alot, I probably should have gone with the Exas 3 as it doesn't rub the door or impede the glove box door from opening easily, but I wanted the extra shoulder bolstering.

BTW, I have a 32" waist.

I agree with you about the stock suspension. But why 18's if you're so worried about performance?

Long story short, wanted the taller 18" wheels for the street to combat the higher RPM cruising speeds of 4.57 or 4.77 gears which I never got. Also, I plan to try the non staggered 17x9 CE28N's w/ 255 tires towards the end of summer (pending # of track days with the stock setup). Hopefully everything works out for me and I can turn this car into a pretty good track performer while still being my DD.

Some interesting angles! I like how they make the car look different in each one. Good work!

Great pics Ryan! I take it you never found someone interested in the exhaust?
