some shots under my old roadster (miata)
I'm a kid on a budget, having fun with my car and my mom's camera, I try.
Tell me what you think! I know the background is bad (my garage) but otherwise, what do you think of my photos? I just use MS Paint to resize them.

Yeah, I guess the subject isn't fantastic either but uh...
enjoy?

Yeah, you might be surprised about the budget though. I guess since someone commented, I'd like to tell the story of how I was so lucky that I ended up with this Miata.
When I turned 14, my mom's boyfriend (who was a car dealer) found a 17 year old kid who crashed an old Miata, that we were able to purchase for under 400 dollars. I guess I did my best to scrape some cash together to buy parts to fix this car, while my stepdad taught me how to do bodywork, paintwork, and basic mechanical work. After doing all the work on this car and selling it for $3,000 we were able to buy my current ride with 100,000 miles on it for the same price.
After that I got a job and have been working about a year and a half to buy my new tires, springs, alignments, bondo, paint, and maintenance parts, etc. The used shocks were my gift this christmas, and my car feels great, even with well over 100 grand on the odometer.
Heres a picture of the whole car, and by the way, this year came stock with BBS wheels! I could barely afford a new center cap for these things. The pictured wheel is the only one with the center cap its meant to have, the other ones come off of older rx-7 wheels.

Theres the car in all its glory!

I
Miatas, Roadsters, MX-5s whatever you want to call them! You've got a nice model there, isn't it one of the M Editions that came with that maroon paint, tan leather, and BBS wheels? I used to know a lot about Miaitas. I researched the hell out of them when I was 16-17 years old. Even though I own an S2000 I still want to buy a Miata some day.

Very nice, I am a miata fan also, frequent the miataforum often even though I have never owned one. One day perhaps.....
Just wondering why didn't you keep the miata you and your stepdad fixed up? I would think with all the hard work you guys put into it you would want to enjoy it some.
