I am looking for some pictures and reactions to those of you who have acquired the hardtop option for MY 2000 or as an option when bought on a MY 2001. (The pics here of the Spa Yellow cars are great, and I am very impressed with the Blue!)
QUESTION: removal and installation of the hardtop- is this a one-person task or do you really need two people to lift it on/off without worrying about dropping it?

I have the hardtop sitting on my garage floor, ready to install. Yes, you really do need 2 people to lift it on and off. I can't imagine anyone doing it alone (without doing some serious damage to themselves or to the car). Sorry I don't have any pics of the yellow hardtop. I believe I've seen some in pics taken at race circuits in previous posts. So they do exist!

 

I too have the hardtop sitting on my floor waiting to be installed and I also agree that 2 people are definitely needed for putting it on or taking it off. That's what my project is for tomorrow. After I'm finished installing it, I'll borrow my friend's digital camara and take some pics to post.
