My top didn't come with anything to insulate the top from the car so I picked up a few rolls of weather stripping from home depot. It seals up pretty nice but the windows will still leak because the window seals spoon gives you are pretty low quality. Have to garage this thing at all times.
I'm currently weatherstripping the hardtop too. Is the leak through the hatch portion or the actualy window itself?

I don't feel this HT until the car has a full body kit. It's too huge for a car with just a lip or just a bumper. Whet you look at Spoon cars it looks good, but when everything is OEM and the Spoon HT comes in - out of any proportions to me.

That's pretty pointless for a daily driver S2K. I suppose this is strickly a track car/show car hardtop.

My daily driving isn't the same as yours is tho .. I go out do my things and put the car right back in the garage. If i have to use the car to go to work everyday i'll put forth a little more effort and really weatherproof the whole top. For now i can still drive through large rainstorms without getting wet i just cant let the car sit in the rain. And when you live in a city where someones seats get stolen everyday (they've been stolen out of this car twice already), a hard top is a neccesity. I rather spend the extra few dollars on a spoon than a stock hardtop. Like that i dont see the same car when another HT'ed S drives by =).

It'll leak from the hatch protion as well as from the window itself. If you look at the pics of my hatch off you can see the i put weatherstringg on the top and sides of the square window part of the cab section. You'll need to seal the window with silicone too if you dont want any water coming in. Make sure the whole top is suspended with weatherstripping so it wont creek and wont scratch the paint.

it's getting plastered with weatherstripping as we speak. I was debating about how much would be needed for the hatch portion. I can't see your pics from my work, so will have t wait 'til later.

If i have some time later and someone to help me i'll take the top off so you can see where i put the weatherstripping on the cab section. It's only a few dollars each roll and i change it every month or two so the top doesn't come in contact with the car from the stripping getting to thin from the pressure.
