Default Spoon Sports Calipers!~!

Got my calipers Friday, bought them used but they are in good condition!!

and for those of you that have this setup (ex. Jsap1, Xplosive etc.) can you tell me if this is the correct bracket before i even attempt to put it on!

also i will be using a 10mm spacer, if there is any one out there that is running a 10mm spacer..please post your pics..i would like to see how far the front wheels will stick out!!

Hi Jay, I bought mine from James aka VeilsideAP1, he kept the brackets on the calipers for me so I didnt really inspect them very carefully. They look like the Spoon brackets but I am not 100% sure, Chris has gone through couple sets fof Spoon calipers, and I am sure he can give you a confirmed answer. Sorry I am not of much help here.

below is a link to my buddy Alan's car with Spoon calipers and 15mm h&r spacer kit.

so if your running 10mm, the front wont even stick out as much. I actually like the JDM fender flash look, so the wider front wheels dont bug me at all. I dont run this setup at the track though, I have a set of Spoon rims for track usage.

Looks just like my AP1 brackets. Who did you buy these from? You will have to go with a 10mm spacer like your doing and extended studs. Remember with the 10mm spacer you wont have any threads to torque the nuts down so pick up a set of the Comptech extended studs at www.comptechusa.com

Good luck

i acutally bought these from a kid that had this setup on his ITR, which leads me to believe that these might not be the brackets, but in dont know..i dont wanna buy brackets if i dont need them...(on opaks site, they have two diff. brackets one for itr, and the other for S2000/Ep3)

chris, i was just gonna go with the H&R or Kics spacer that already have the extended lugs on them.....what do you think??

ITR brackets are different than the EP3/AP1 brackets but look very close to the same with the dull black. Thats why I said they look just like mine. They have different part numbers as well.

You can try the H&R or Kics spacer with the extended studs on them. They run them in Japan all the time however I have never seen anyone with them in the US for the S2k. I do know that Spoonus is going to use the 40mm ones for his Amuse setup.
