see, You wanna do what I did, take a older gc shell(pre 2001) and stick STI motor/drivetrain in it......best of both world, and my car only weights at 2640(stripped) as opposed to 3200-300 for an STI...You could say that it runs 12s stock....and handles like a dream...
oh any the bugeye is not the original WRX, it was still a weaker version of the original

i know i'm a little late to the party. i have some pics of it on my computer, and a couple have been posted already, but i spent sometime uploading and might as well share them. i think ALL the subarus and evos are ugly. i don't think it was ever meant to be pretty. it's a rally car. it's what the tuner/driver does to it that makes them look attractive to car lovers. i think the s2000 is beautiful, and that's why i spent my money on the S and not on a more powerful evo or sti. just my opinion...here's the pics!

Damn, I'm a previous owner of an '05 STi and I thought mine was ugly....the '06 model is just so fugly 
....I"m glad I got the s2000 now. This is my experience with both cars: s2000=girls staring and wanting to ride.....STi=damn teenagers wanting to race and guys staring at you w/envy.
