I know they try to change the shape by adding thoses plastic pieces.
I still think it doesn't look that great by what i can see around them.
What do you all think?

unless they pack a turbo under the hood, it's going to stay a chick car imho

 

I've owned 2 eclipse's and let me tell you that they are getting weaker each year. They f-d up when they tried to pull in a bigger demographic by going to a slow heavy ass v-6. Now there trying to draw the younger drivers back but there's too many other cars out there that are much better.

The concept for the 05 is the shiznit but like 4 years ago the concept was tight too but look what actually came out. The gayest ever looking eclipse. The actual production model will be a sad interpretation of the concept car.

 

 

is it me or do the wheels look different in every pic?

 

Look in the first pic and you will see two different cars being tested.

The wheelbase looks really short or the front and rear overhangs are really large. Looks funny either way.

 

Well, the body lines seem to be better than the 3G Eclipses. 1G DSM's were deffinately the best performance-wise, and still better looking than the early 2G's. I'm Chris BTW, working on getting rid of my 2 Talons and getting a S2k. One last thing...the lines almost resemble a late-model 3000GT in my eyes.

 

The pics are deceiving cause the padding and bras hide the true contour of the front and rear. Actually the car does not hang that far over. Look at the exhaust pipe and you'll see that actually the wheel base is pretty large. They just added lots of padding front and back to disguise it.
