Actually I thought what my friend Shaun bought was aluminum but turns out it was just sheet metal. Aluminum is recomended so it doesnt rust. This was just a test to design it. If we make another one it may be out of different material. The thickness is .045".

I decided to paint it gold since the black shows some of the small tool marks that got on it. I'm going to go with the gold form the EM2 civic since it looks really close to the ends of the J's racing strut bar. The black also takes away from some of the nice lines and cuts that came out great.

Anyways heres a shitty cell snapshot quick. We put our shops sticker over the bare metal before painting it.
