It started as a simple repaint of the front bumper, It was rock chipped from one end to the other. So while i was at it I decided to shave the emblem and tag mounts. I knew I should have stopped there but some times it's hard to control my self. Sorry about the photos, Im taking the bad ass up to work tomorrow.



This is how I laid out my idea. It allows me to play with the idea and get a basic Idea of what it's going to look like. It stayed like this for a week until today.



This one is after the first few cuts, and after I hot glued paint sticks to the back side to stretch the height. I tilted the pieces to shorten the bottom and lengthen the top of the opening.



All the other pieces filled in and trimmed to fit.

What do you guys think so far. There more to come, I just wanted to share my process you with guys.

I believe someone did something simliar a short while ago, pearl white was the color. but i like your version a bit better.

the new opening is going to show the rebar so to remedy this there is going to be a plate to cover that. its going to look alot smaller afterwords.
