4doorj: I don't plan on getting one for a while, it's my DD and without a HT or cage I think the GT wings look ugly. I hope to someday get a CF trunk and GT wing for track days.

Welcome to the club... it seems like you have been bitten by the bug already.

 

I just like to personalize any car I drive, and I have a bit left over after selling my old car, so I wanted to get some stuff out of the way.

I can't make up my mind on wheels though. Sunk face emotions are nice, but I'm having trouble finding someone to roll my fenders and a shop is gonna charge me a lot from what I hear. I also love RPF1's and heard you can run a 9 +45 in the rear without rolling, but I don't like plain silver rims most of the time (I could powdercoat them though). I'm also looking into black racing pro N1's, but finding them is proving to be a task (and I don't even know what offsets they come in). I'm also searching around at used wheels and Takumi Project has a set of 17" Meister s2's for 1300 obo, but they look like they have a bit of curb rash on one of the wheels.

 

you should do it like the js racing and get gold volks!

If I could find a deal on some used ones, yeah. New Volks are out of my budget rage for wheels.

Dropped the car off with the lip this morning for paint. I was just gonna have the lip painted and install myself, but I'd rather have this car perfect so I'm having the body shop install the lip and paint the lip and bumper so it blends right. I'll post pics when I get it back tomorrow evening.

Sat. the coilovers go on, should be a fun install. I might do the Ricks clear diffusers too.

I also finally decided on wheels. They weren't any of the ones I was considering but once I saw them on an s2000 I had to get them, I think they're perfect for my car.

I am in raleigh every day and about every other weekend. Once you get everything installed we need to me up and take some pics, I have been looking for someone else in the area with agressive taste like my self.
