Great car, but 5 years and that's it? I woulda focused on other parts of the car before swapping to that bumper. Aftermarket body w/ stock height + wheels = fail to me.
Not everyone has to prioritize the same. I think it's ridiculous how much is expected out of everyone in the S2000 Gallery section. If a guy is at stock height, people will say, "Lower it a couple of inches and you'll be good." Then the tires need to be replaced. Then the bumper. Suddenly, a lip must be installed. Exhaust. How could you forget the exhaust? Wait, you don't have a hardtop? How can you drive a Honda roadster without a hardtop on?!
Well, OP, you've made some great progress. Your car is looking sweet!

Let's see, oh wait...yes. Talking about spending money wisely? Why change bumpers three times if there was nothing wrong with the stock one in the first place?
Do you laugh at civics at stock height and on steel wheels that have body kits? To me, this front bumper is like that but less extreme.
I understand that people have other financial burdens, but three bumpers? Seems like a really good financial move, esp. after paint.
While I don't have a mortgage, I have a decent job (no family of my own though). I too have been focusing on my career, but still find ways to make my money work for me (mainly waiting around until a good deal comes up. Nothing for the car is that immediate (unless it's repairs) that make me have to have them right away.
And while I do have rally lights on my car, the parts on the car and the way I use the car deem them as worthy of being there. It might look stupid, but at least I can take people saying it looks stupid, mainly because I agree with them.
I'm surprised more people haven't spoken up saying how stupid that bumper looks. If you can't take the criticism, don't post pictures, or at least be able to understand where certain comments are coming from.
Oh and three things:
1. Stock AP1 Bumper
2. Stock AP2 Bumper
3. Amuse Replica Bumper

Oh, well..."You're probably not even reading his posts. It's not like he's commenting about how money-wise he is or throwing jabs at you. I don't understand why you're writing a novel of a post about an opinion nobody asked for...?
Hey those koni's and springs look familiar, I've seen this car in person and its no higher than mine was stock. It's going to look good on those springs.
