Steelies?
You guys might not have ever wondered what steelies would look like on an S2000, but if you have, hear ya go. I wanted to experiment out of curiosity.
I actually found a set of steelies in 17", so I figured I would have some fun. I'm definitely expecting a lot of interesting comments about this setup, but that's the whole funny thing about this skateboarded out semi-truck style wheeled S2000. And for not too much invested, I wasn't too worried with the outcome.
Before anyone asks I will explain the process before I mounting them. They started out all black OEM Dodge Magnum/Chrysler 300M 17x7" +20mm steelies. Including tires, they weigh only 1 lb more then the stock 16" aluminum S2000 wheels. Now here's where I cut corners with the polishing of the lips... I mounted each wheel (tireless) to the rear hub of the car while jacked up. With the engine started and the car in gear, I took a flathead screw driver to the lip and began to strip the powercoating (ghetto lathe). Then applying sandpaper and steel wool until I got a somewhat shiny surface. After all 4 were done I finished them off with a few coats of Clear Duplicolor wheel coating.

If these had Mugen stamped on them you could sell them for 4K.

And btw these still look bette ron the S than any chromed out 19 inchers (with some exceptions)
The tyre height is too much tough.
Put some smaller tyres(in diameter) give it some camber and a decent drop
I really like the unconventional way you did to polish the lips
