Well, the new STi cost 2,900,000 in Japan, and it's going to be like $32K here.
Do the math, this Legacy might ended up like $48-49K.

I believe it is Autoweek that caught a disguised version of the next gen STi Legacy with a 300+bhp blown 6. It was the wagon version and supposed to be designed with the US market in mind.

I'm intrigued as I know that not too far from now I'm going to need a car to carry bambinos and something like the STi Legacy wagon, V70R volvo or S4 Avant seem like really good kid carrying cars to me!

That's why we have to pay extra for the USDM WRX STi's radio.
It's cost saving, not weight saving.
