Powder coating my wheels white would be so easy. Gunmetals are hard to get perfect. It's just taking me some time to really, really like it. I had it 5 years ago, but I don't know about now. Hopefully I'll come around because it would be convenient.

I'm passing by a powder coater next week so I'll let you guys know what I choose. It's crazy, a paint shop quoted me $500 CDN to paint and powder coat a clear coat on all four wheels, while most to all powder coaters range from $100 CDN to $280 CDN for all four wheels. Powder coating is cheaper.

Most wheel refinishers just paint and they sand blast your aluminum wheels, which could leave damage. So I've heard, I've never seen it done.

The powder coaters all use chemicals to remove the old colour and contaminents.

Plus, you almost always require a clear coat to protect for paint, but you can get a matte finish with powder coat.

Anyhow, I'll let you guys know the colour I choose. Thanks for the input.
