unprotected aluminium will oxidized as soon as it contact with air, keep a good coat of wax or clearcoat them.

correct me if i am wrong, don't rota sells a polished/raw version of the slip?

are those OEM lugs? if so you need to invest in ANY aftermarket lugs for aftermarket wheels for safety.

I polished them with the powerball and mothers aluminum mag polish

I just got done stripping a set of 16x8s. Not a fun job. Rota really gets that paint on there solid. I think I must have soaked the wheels with aircraft stripper 15 times before they were 100% clean in every nook and cranny. The first layer came off quick and easy but the primer took forever.

- tell me about it

- they are aftermarket, just cheap aftermarket. i was using my 5zigen($150) lugs but they are bronze and matched the color before, what color lugs should i get ?

blue ?
neochro?
chrome?
black?
lime green........ or not

Man, your car is lookin' hot. Nice job on the wheels. As far as lugs, I think neochro would be awesome.
