I sure did, but with R-compounds and not Street tires. R compounds on this track are roughly 3-4 seconds faster

Great team work by AJ-Racing and Evasive Motorsport. We made a pretty good impression today by placing all of our competing cars on the podium. In a playing field this competitive, that is very VERY impressive.
I was kind of disappointed to not see GT Motoring at the super lap battle? Would have been great to meet/compete with them. I seriously thought they were gonna be there especially after they made that Super Lap 2007 Battle thread and were already here in the west coast for SEMA? Hm...oh well. Look for a collaborative write-up soon @ www.maxrev.net.
Now off to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca this weekend for the Redline Time Attack Finals.

We got third in class.
Best time run in the day was a 2:00.3 during practice. Our best time during TA sessions was a 2:01.3. 1st place was taken by JIC EVO(1:58.2) and 2nd by Harmond STI(1:59.9). So close, yet so far! Pics and a video will come.
I was looking forward to doing battle with GTMotoring but they were a no show?

A few goodies added, some stinkytofu power and a little bit of home grown innovation. The car will be competing at Super Street Super Lap Battle in street class with stinkytofu at the wheel.

Voltex Wing FTW!
White TE37 on Black, so sexy~!
Keep up the good work and good luck in time attack!

I had some bad luck leaving SEMA friday night. got the car back to the hotel. then went to leave and bring it to my friends garage for storage for a few days, and the bolts the front end of the propeller shaft broke! bolts snapped etc. As luck would have it, the repair parts were on national back order....

, maybe next year. Thanks Jay. I also want to thank Kel for all the help setting the car up. This pretty much is as good as it gets for a street car guys. We are still gonna try to break 2 minutes on street tires but there isn't much more we can do to the car with a reasonable budget limit.
More pics http://speedzoku.com/forum/index.php?autoc...ate&order_key=D Congrats to the Evasive and Aj racing teams!
