After what seemed forever I finally was able to scrape up enough money to but my hardtop. I bought this through the group buy and through Steve @ Evolution. He is a great guy to do business with and got me an excellent price on the double -sided hardtop. He gets .

I have lots of pics but the sun was just coming up so there is some glare and some didn't come out the way I thought they would. None of these pics give the hardtop the credit it deserves, you just need to see it in person. Also FYI I suck at taking pics.

Any comments are welcome. I would also like some opinions on which rims I should go with as they are my next purchase. I was thinking of the LE37 or TE37 by volk (black with machined lip) but welcome any other suggestions on rims or any other parts you guys think I should add to the car.

I'll get some more pics as soon as I get more time and better light. There is one question I have regarding the hardtop though. IMG 231 has a patch where I think no clear coat was added or it is adhesive or the clear coat got rubbed off. I have no idea what happened there. Is there anyway I can fix this problem?

Steve really hooked me up on the deal. It was the $3000 + 350 shipping + 250 for the carbon on the inside. I'll have some pics of the weave on the inside up soon. He is an awsome dude, I have absolutely no regrets.

The cooling plate is awesome. It was the first part I bought for my car. I really like it but I think it is 1x1 weave where the to pis 2x2.

If it fades it should only be on the outside. I expect it to but don't know how soon it will happen, probably fast cause I live in AZ. I plan on painting it anyways (black sides and middle streak on the top and the rest suzuka). It won't bother me to paint it cause I still know it's carbon and if no one believes me they can look on the inside.

Just working on rims next.

btw i have some pix of my suzuka when i had my black LE37 if u want to see them if ur still undecided on which rims to go with.

 

I would definitely get it painted. Post pics when you do. I dont see may Suzuka's w/Hts. Especially this HT in particular.
