How long do these last? until coilovers?
Depends on how much you drive it, and how you drive it.

I drove in several autoX events immediately after the install and alignment...under those conditions the springs settled quickly.

I think they have settled a little more, but not much, I have put about 1300 miles on them so far, so they are probably about done.

The ride is only a tad bit stiffer than stock. My girlfriend didn't even really notice the difference.

As for handling, it's definately more responsive, maybe another couple mph around my usual turns, but I haven't really pushed it because I need new rear tires.

With my Espelirs, the ride is barely different at all. As the OP said that his GF didn't really notice a difference in ride quality, neither did my wife. It's definitely a bit stiffer, but to someone who does not ride in the car all the time, it's not enough of a change to be real obvious.

The handling is MUCH better, but I also had my local Honda S2000 specialist set me up with a more aggressive alignment. I think the alignment itself has just as much to do with the much improved cornering, the combo of the springs and the alignment is nothing short of fabulous. I highly recommend the Espelirs and a good, not OEM alignment.

I just had my Swifts installed today. So far, the ride is pretty damn good. I'm just waiting for them to settle in.
