but what are you talking about in regards to the exhaust? he has a custom cat-back, how is he capping anything off?
A couple of people, over the years, have converted dual outlet exhaust to single outlet; simply welding a plate over the opening for the 2nd canister/pipe. If that is not the case here, then he's fine. If it is the case, he's most likely loosing some power.

Nice car, but MAN, I would never let a woman (even my wife) sit on my car like that, no matter how pretty she was!!
I always said the same, but even though my baby is tall she is very light. Besides The hood is going to be replaced soon, and the one on there now is in bad condition with all the chips.

good pics, but since you posted in a public forum, here's my 2cents
(1) I wouldn't get OEM sides, they leave nothing for the front and the car looks unbalenced. if that's the look you want (which I had at one time) then get the VeilSide version1 sides. They look OEM and balence the front off.
(2) I don't know about that exhaust. Your converting a dual into a singel...dicey. Unless you are ONLY using the canister, then I'd buy it. BUT, if you're simply caping off the other pipe, you're creating a ton of back pressure and loosing tq/owr...guaranteed....just think about the physics behind it and you'll see it doesn't make sense.
(3) DON"T EVER LET SOMEONE, I DON"T CARE HOW HOT THEY ARE, SIT ON YOUR HOOD!!!
1. Very good suggestion. I had seen them before but rarelly, so the hought of them never came up. I believe it is a better option.
2. the exhaust is a custom made piping to hks canister. I would never make a ghetto exhaust like the one you mentioned.
3. Read above post

they are painted black, but also made so that at certain angles if the light hits them right they appear gunmetal.
