talking about modding now.
I'm glad there are some others that agree with me
Peoples narrow vision and "I'll knock other people's taste and efforts to make me feel superior" mentality gets to me.
Yup, I'd give that guy more props for creating a one of a kind with some fantastic airbrush work on the paint than I do to someone that puts an Amuse GT1 kit on their car and still only sits it at shows. ;-)

I know the guy, met him at a couple car shows. He is a really cool guy and that car is built to showoff Blaupunkt and his shop that built the car that he owns in Toronto. It is a damn show car, end of story. I was parked next to him and we starting talking, he gave me props on my car and I gave him props on his. He was talking and he wanted to build an Amuse widebody S2k next but he is a pretty big buy, couldnt fit in the S2K.
I'm sure it does well for the target audience (ricers), but just seems silly to me. What's the point of having 500 gaugues, 20 LCD monitors, neon lights , and whatever other crazy shit they put in there.
I just don't get it.
I just don't get it.
Then you never will.
It is a display vehicle. Not one that is made to be driven around town.
How hard is this to understand? Companies could have their products displayed in a boring manner on a rack or a wall at a car show a-la Best Buy, or they could sponsor and build a car as a display piece to draw attention to their products (in this case primarily audio) and display them in a a more interesting way.
That car is a display piece to display audio products and show people exactly how skilled this particular shop's is with fiberglass fabrication and paint work.
I don't get why people have such a hard time understanding this????

People here amaze me....read the posts....
This guy....
a)OWNS AN ELECTRONICS CAR AUDIO SHOP
b)IS SPONSORED BY BLAUPUNKT
How would you like him to advertise? Put on an Amuse widebody and a 900hp turbo kit???
This is done for advertising, showing the skills and abilities of the shop. Im sure he has a Ferrari in the driveway, as well as a performance car. Some of you people dont get that there are other aspects in the automotive world besides sushi table wings and JDM.
