a teaser for me and you
unfortunately this is a teaser to me too b/c i dont have tires yet and havent even ordered them yet . so this is all we'll get for now
oh my, what do we have here?

mother does not aproove, despite the smile on her face. i told her to give that motherly "i cant believe you did this" look. it did not go well and i fired her as she is a horrible poser

its not wheels, its a PUPPY BOX!!!1

gonna need a fender roll. still unsure on tire size...

sunk face ftw! and no i did not put the full weight of the car on the wheel, just lowered it down enough to close the gap a bit, so i could see approx. where the outside of the wheel would be in relation to the fender

full set. havent decided if i want to sticker them up or not... i guess i should but i dont want to screw it up (95% chance of this happening)

and now they sit in my room, in the boxes till the tires arrive
THANKS RILEY!!
btw, can i do a 225/45/17F and 255/40/17R? id like to know if i can fit that size in the rear (i think the front size would be ok... correct me if im wrong on that one) but the rears worry me. Riley has said he would roll my fenders for me and says that size should be fine (and i trust him, considering what he currently rolls on, i assume he knows whats up in the world of what fits and what doesnt), but a second and third opinion doesnt hurt. i will be running Bridgestone Potenza RE050A pole positions.
i looked on tire rack at the oem tire specs and these new ones and the only difference is obviously width and the rear oem's overall diameter is 24.8 while the new ones would be 25.0. this equates to a 7 revolutions per mile difference. so really im mostly concerned with rubbing b/c the rears are 17x9 +44.
thanks in advance.

Rears are going to be tough with 255's. Fender roll and camber should get you where you need without rubbing.

wow.... such nice parents..?
they have not paid for any of my cars/toys since i was 12 years old. they do put a roof over my head and keep food in the kitchen, but anything related to cars they have never paid for.
and besides, im 22, if they paid for these that would be totally lame

Good choice on the wheels, I'm still debating on the wheels I'm getting for mine. I can't wait until you put them on.
