Then how does that aid in allowing larger (wider) rear tires and wheels if the stock OEM panels are still in place? I don't understand their purpose then. Don't the stock fenders underneath still rub the tires?

not really...if you drop youcar all the way it will rub if you leave only 1 inch gap will be fine

nice cars guys... i like the DIY projects...

one question though. i see you guys don't run dust boots on your coilvoers. how many miles are on them? any problem with dirt/debris/sand damaging the seals?
