I read it as A Tesla-Smoking Corvette.

Instead, it is A Tesla smoking a Corvette.

Needless to say I was disappointed =(

I am not a huge vette fan, but give me that any day of the week.

 

All you can hear is the Corvette's loud V8 burbling to keep up with the Tesla. Isn't that a Z06? Maybe the "driver mod" suggestions aren't such a bad idea?

 

I rode in a Tesla Roadster Sport for the first time 10 days ago. My best friends father bought one to add to his collection of extreme hardware. The acceleration is outrageous. I've been in faster cars but when it's not making any noise it changes your perception of it. It is plagued with its fair share of problems. It's been out to 4 auto-x events and has yet to finish one without overheating. But when it's running it's extremely quick out there.

Would I buy one? No, the technology needs a bit of improvement let alone its far outside my price range. I no longer hold internal combustion as the end-all of motoring though.

 

I still don't understand why anyone would buy a tesla.

Wasn't there videos of stock Teslas running high 11's? Instant torq for the win!

Somebody please post this rumored video of the tesla running 11's? I can't seem to find it. I can find lots of videos of stock C6 Z06's running low 11's (high 10's on drag radials). Instant torque is great though. Not worth the extra $25,000 IMO.

 

Where's the rest of the video showing the Z06 catching back up?
