thinking about a color change...
that orange is way too bright for an everyday car.
and whats the point of getting cf fenders if im gonna paint them? thats just retarted. If i was interested in saving weight i would have just gotten fiberglass fenders.

paint it and leave the fender carbon near the opening or just that outer layer that's like 3inches wide
I too am changing color and have a c/f hood and fenders. There's no way I'm not going to paint them, as NHAN mentioned get a little creative around the fender openings and maybe the hood but I think in the long run you'll reget not painting them.
I find it pretty amusing the number of Honda guys who want the c/f hood look so spray paint their hood black, sooo ghetto, and pretty prevasive, around here anyway. The black hood is kind of passe these days in my opinion, I think there are better ways to make an impression (if that's what your after) by being a little more subtle but still letting folks know your wearing some carbon. A freind of mine made me some vinyl S2000 stickers that exactly matched the S2000 logo on the fender, I was considering painting over them and peeling them off to expose the c/f underneath so that S2000 would be in c/f relief. I put them all over the fender trying to find the 'right' spot but just couldn't get the look so ended up not going with it, they didn't look right in the original location. I'm going to expose a little bit arond the fender openings and on the hood, that's it.
