you must not be usign your brain then.

there are people on here who spend $2000 on coilovers for their $15000 car. thats paying 13% of the value of the car for suspension. thats the exact same as spending $11k on coilovers for that car.

shit, people are spending $3k for asm intakes for their s2000's, thats not far from gt-r territory
You sir are correct! Thank you for using basic economic principles vs. initial exclamation

Also, factor in the limited number of GTRs being made and then factor in on top of that the fact that most who purchase one, will not be modifying it - your market is almost obsolete (a generalization of course, but I'm just using the porsche/ferrari/lamborghini markets as a basis to make my conclusion)

And like one of the posters on the 1st page said, BMW M3s and M5s have similar cost products. Why? Because the companies know that if you can spring that much for the base product (the car) you should be able to afford to pay for their products.

Also, as a side note, the suspension pricing I can almost justify seeing as though the GTR's suspension from the factory is nothing short of amazing (I'm not talking handling characteristics since I've never driven one) but more so the raw technology behind it, both mechanical and computer.

That still dosent justify $4k. && 1,500 for brake pads? they better be platinum fiber infused with diamond bits.
LOL, I wonder what that would do to its rotors

Just because GT-R is expensive, it doesn't mean these prices are justified. Sure of course these people buying expensive cars can afford expensive parts with an ease. BUT, the cost of producing that front lip?!?! Cost of producing the air filter?!?! To me it's just simply too expensive just because the product is "MADE FOR" GT-R. Not like the parts are made from some rare mystical materials from some fantasy land that can't be obtained on earth.
