It's been about 3 weeks now since I thought about tinting my windows, and I started noticing alot of cars with tint. The other day in New York, I saw a nice black EVO with a tinted front windshield. I want it but I'm not sure if I would tint my windshield because of the risk of getting pulled over and because I dont know if it looks that good with the top down.

My question is has anyone tinted their windshield and not gotten in too much trouble with it? I also would appreciate it if anyone posted pics.

It seems to me that the visibility at night would suck, I like seeing clearly where I'm going, also I don't think it would look too good with the top down... my .02

 

I have had full tint in the front on previous cars before and even though it does look nice visibility sucks crap....I once almost hit a person crossing the road cuz I barely even noticed!!!! The worst was when it rained hard at night.......good luck if ya still get it.

 

I seen it in Kuwait, Iraq and Guam.. Never here though.. Why risk killing someone though?

 

there are few members on here with the windshield tinted, im gonna tint my windows next week and i want the windshield done 35%.

 

I think that is the most impractical thing to do to your car, its all for style (although I don't think it looks too good), and puts a nice dent in your visability. Wear a pair of sunglasses instead.

 

The car is already impractical. Also a pair of sunglasses for one example won't help protect leather from sun damage when parked outside. Also, I don't want to tint because I want to potentially kill myself or someone else.

wow. No offense but I wouldn't your just looking for trouble with the cops real fast plus the definite possibility of hurting yourself and others. Also if you won't to protect the interior from damage just make sure you uv protect your interior than buy a $40 custom fitted windshield sunguard. Problem solved. Than again there is always that sunglass idea

never had a problem, been pulled many times for other things and not even a mention. rest of windows are 95% limo.
