nick, i think the headlights would look better when tinted if they didn't have the orange in them.
i believe wes bought his tint from 'speed2000' in atlanta.

 

Is the tint spay-on kind?

 

It's "static tint", the kind you can buy at Pep Boys. But, yes, I bought it from Speed2000 (Stongaurd of Georgia).

I did experiment with spray tint (Testors spray model tint) on an extra set of headlights and the results were not good at all. The headlight lens is too smooth for the spray tint to stick consistently. I am convinced that if someone could find a spray tint that did stick, it would look incredibly good.

Unfortunately the only pics I have with the tint on is from Import Revolution, and the lighting there was horrible. But, here are two more. I'd say that in this lighting the tint is a bit darker than it is in real life, but it's still decently dark. At night, the HIDs shine through just fine, but they take on less of a blue hue. I don't know what % darkness the tint is.

 

What is the rectangle in front of the radiator?
