We have a Carrera around here with a V8 and it hauls some serious ass. Very disconcerting when you see it running the bridges. Looks like a Porshe, sounds like a Chevelle. Crazy car

I love that wooden knob in there, to me it looks refined and classy.

 

I think it should be mentioned that Valentino Balboni , Chief Test Driver for Lamborghini, was at Crystal Cove yesterday. For me Crystal Cove is not just seeing seeing cars, but also a chance to share it with great people. I still shake my head thinking of the time I realized I was making light comments about a original GT40 to Dan Gurney.

 

A good friend of mine had a friend that did one of those US V8 swaps in one of those older Porsche's and road raced it. Very good handling car but a hand full. Tons of torque and hp in a lightg weight car! Love the Silver GT3 though!
