yah, a tiny bit overexposed, and maybe you're shooting in improper sunlight. it appears a lot of these pics were taken around high noon or shooting into the sunlight. rule of thumb #1 is to have the sun behind you while shooting

Yea it was at Noon, it was a hazy day but had to finish cleaning up the garage for next weekend. My biggest problem (I think)) is my white balance has no real adjustability. Just generic settings like Flash/Sun/Overcast,....
Side note: Are you SURE you don't want to come for some Pho next Saturday? Even though its going to be your BDay?

Use the exposure compensation button, not sure if D50 has one but it would look like this "+/-" and dial it into -2. If that is not enough go another to -2.5 or -3 whatever you have on the camera. You should do this whenever your car takes up most of the frame.

as far as the pho meet, i'm slowly considering it now if i dont' have any plans during the morning/day. i'd definitely have to leave early however. i'll let you know
