whats the advantage of running 255's all around, how does it affect handling?

ASM widebody^^ also, the tape is used so if you get in an accident, it kinda holds the glass together so it doesn't shatter and go flying all over the track. and WHAT BRAKES ARE THOSE??? i thought they were from an NSX at first. anyone know??
