I don't think it's going to come off by goofing off. I think it will take a lot of hard work to get it off.

How do you go about in cleaning the yellow sound deadening material? Goof off?

Cant wait to see the final result.
Goof off will take out the residue from the tar, but I don't know about the other stuff.

That stuff just seems to be spread on there for no reason (I know there is a reason, just not sure what it is.)

I think the best option will be to give it a sand before paint, so that it's not as obvious that it's there.

I already bought the steering wheel, hub and quick release. Just waiting for them to come in. I was told 2 days MAX and then it turned into 2 weeks

On a good note though, the steering wheel is in just waiting on the hub and quick release

Why did you strip your interior again?
2 reasons.

#1 and the most bothersome is I have a leak coming from the front. firewall area. I also have a leak in the trunk that is either from the trunk or the rear bumper. It would stink like wet towel

#2 This is gonna start seeing a lot of track time. I've always liked the way cars looked stripped. Don't need that stuff anymore.

Im also gonna be either getting a custom roll bar or the hard dog. which will not use the OEM roll hoops or soft top. That pretty much left the carpet in the car.

Cliff notes

*find leaks
*cause I like it.

I guess I answered my own question... lol I used Goof Off & the yellow sound deadening material came right off. Just remember to use gloves.
