Default Trip over to J's

Well, so off I went to visit J's Racing Garage this past saturday, which was about a 45 minute drive from where I live.

Sorry I don't have awesome one-piece pics of the outside, but I tried!

walking into the shop...

nice display of their current chassis work for another wide-body race s2k:

some of their awards:

and of course, what you've all been waiting for...

their Touge 300 S2K (unfortunately, it was sandwiched between other cars so I couldn't get full pics):

their TA s2k:

lastly, a pic with the Ex. Director (Murakami) and the man himself, Umemoto.

matching color scheme and all haha.

if i'm guessing correctly, the "headlamps" on their TA car is just a plastic piece that covers the lamp's hole and is just an air-brushed picture of the ap2 lamps.

forgot to mention, although I wasn't allowed to take pictures of their pit, inside were:
- a veilside mr-s
- na1 NSX
- ek9-r

that is what i was getting at they look so real that if you didnt do any night driving that would be an awesome weight mod!

If you look at the pics from far away they look reasonable, i know you wouldnt have turn signals but.... you would have your sidemarkers

exactly what i was thinking. I remember J's TA car being featured in a Super Street and the headlamps never caught my eyes until I saw it in person. I was inspecting their Touge car first (ap1 -> ap2 lights) then i looked @their TA car and thought "those look mighty fishy...".

I might go back one more time to pick up a few more parts, hopefully I can get more shots ^^ But next garage on the list, Signal Auto!
