cool man, I was planning on going there while I was there for 3 weeks, what part of Osaka do you live in? or maybe not in Osaka, if it is 45 min.

I would have gone to J's but I had already been taken to sooo many other shops I couldn't ask to do any more.
I actually live in Kobe, to the FAR west side of kobe, about an hour away from Himeji. I haven't been to much shops yet, but a few junkyards and I've picked myself up some nice chump of "junk"

Did you pickup anything while you were there?
And while I was @J's, picked up their: engine damper, fender frame brace, and oil cap. Nothing especially expensive haha. All already shipped back home waiting for my return... bwahaha.

and thanks ricosauve

oh and yes, I inquired about the odd pit-job of the mr-s, considering J's is a Honda tuning shop, and Murakami just laughed and said it was a "special" case, in which I figure it was just a really good customer's car.

cool, one of my friends is from Kobe, he took me to Mt. Rokko while I was there, haha and let's just say, go go go immediately, you kind of have to know some people to take you when other people will be there, but if you have a car there you should find it on your own haha.

Japan has a different definition of winding road.

Signal Auto Kobe was pretty cool, it is really small but they had a wonderful S2000 there.

Make sure to stop by Super Autobacs at the Sunshine Warfe, especially on a Sunday, when I went there R-Magic had some demo cars there and the owner was giving people some rides took a ride in one of there FD's, sooo fun.

I love the "junk" yards in Japan haha, soo many good cars and parts.

Yeah, I've visited pretty much every single (Super) Autobacs in the Kobe area, nothing too special, although the S.Autos @Sunshine had the nice Rotary display that I had fun playing with haha.

Yep, been to Mt. Rokko, another student friend lives up there so I frequent his house a lot, and it's quite funny because his neighbor has a Levin and a FC and I've seen it, and a few other cars having "fun" haha.

So you aren't in Japan anymore?

nope I was there for 3 weeks this summer staying with my girlfriend in Osaka, and my friend, who has lived in Ks City for awhile about 3 years now, who is from Kobe, thanks to them I got to go all over the place. So many different places, I was going to go to the Super GT race at Suzuka, but it was the 1000km and I had already put my girlfriend through way to much car stuff haha, I had to do something nice for her.

haha yeah my friend is in love with Rotary's (he has an FC in the US) and he was in heaven while we were there while R-Magic had it's cars there, he was messing around with their little display too haha.

He also took me too a bunch of small shops while I was there which was pretty nice, there are quite a few little shops around Kobe, not to mention beautiful mountain views at night, haha, you can see Osaka etc. the entire harbor area it was amazing.

that is great that you went to Mt. Rokko I saw some very very nice things while I was there and no it wasn't at any of the love hotels so many in that area haha.

I can't wait to go back!
