I see you are making quite some progress with those images, you might want to play with the dodge and burn tools when you mess with the pics and try to get a hold of lighting in the pics, that will help you a whole bunch.

You might want to look from the perspective of where the light is coming from, which angle is it hitting the car and how will it reflect. That should help.

For a noob, you are doing a good job, just keep trying and I am sure you will get a hold of it eventually
